i've been a lazy, and busy girl

Last week, was a crazy week for my friends.  My best friend in the whole wide world, Manda, like from college and she knows me better than I do, is moving to Oregon ( i live in Indiana) in about 2 weeks with her honey. Another good friend, her father was in a horrible motorcycle accident ( i hate them) and finally woke up 2 nights ago ( thank God!). And a friend from work, had her doggie Chloe die.  So I was a little mentally scattered and crazy. 

Sunday I got together with Manda and had a Jam Session. She won a party from Ball canning. And I and Manda and a couple other good friends spent Sunday afternoon making strawberry jam.  I am definitely adding more canning on my list to do!

I also finished a crocheted sweater, headband, and hat for a friend in baby pink, and of course forgot to take a picture, but I finished the blanket and booties tonight and WILL take a pic before I give them to her.

I am working the next couple days, but today I woke up to a crash out in the family room. My Ruby was sleeping in front of the coffee table and was dreaming and um kicked the coffee table leg right off!  She's about 80 lbs so I guess it was a good dream ;) 

My big goal for the weekend and holiday is to use the camera so I can really get this blog going!

Busy week and a 3 day weekend!

i'm a little slower than I thought  wished.  I am still working some overtime, so I have not gotten all I wanted to done, I know welcome to life.  I did get the internet fixed at home, and got my layette set done for a friend at work.  It's a pink sweater, headband and hat for a baby girl. So sweet, but umm gave it to get before I could take pictures, story of my life. I have made so much awesome stuff, but never think to take pictures, but hey as long as people are happy I'm happy. 

I am still trying to link everything together, and get my  pinterest account etc.  I want to set up all my stuff this weekend. 

Tomorrow is my MIL's birthday, so I will wake up early and go over there before another short shift at work, starting at 1am.  Then I am gonna stay at home with the Hubs and work on the blog and clean and do wifey stuff.   So hopefully next time, it should be a little better!

Ok im done being a lurker...

After months of lurking and reading and being jealous of everyone's fab blogs, I finally decided to do my own.  I make cool, awesome,yummy stuff....sometimes.  i wanna do fun WWIW posts and get featured too!  So I will learn how to:

• Use the fancy camera my husband bought instead of my phone for pictures
• actually DO things instead of just making lists, so I can show off
• stop being jealous of everyone's WONDERFUL blogs that I follow/lurk
• finally open my ETSY shop
• have some kick butt fun

A little about myself:

• I love to crochet, bake, craft, and be creative in different ways
• I'm married to Hubs, it's been him and me since I was about 20
• I work at a hospital as a medical secretary and LOVE it
• My babies are Pearl (Westie)and Ruby (Shar-pei/Mastiff) and I love them more than people should probably love their dogs
• I am TYPE A, hence the bulleted lists
• I swear, I drink, I love tattoos and I am very down to Earth
• Therefore, it is difficult to offend me and please do not get offended by me, I just like to swear ;)
• I do not have many friends, but the ones I do have I would do ANYTHING for

Okie doke.... so now that my blog isn't all blank, I'm going to figure out how to join the party and be one of the cool kids
